Brothers, Ray and Fitz, own Kounter Kulture. A trendy coffee shop in trendy Wick Bush, Brooklyn. Each day they deal with odd employees, kooky regulars, nutty neighbors, douchey hipsters and an on-going parade of hilarity.
From concept, to original artwork— I created the retro robot character of SAM for my client, Rucker & Co. The promotional kit features a 3D cover, 3D glasses, and a vinyl LP by music production company Stephen Arnold.
We collaborated with Rucker & Co. to create an impactful leave behind for Cardinal Capital. One that wouldn't get tossed in the wastebasket after a sales call. This flip book features over 600 pages to create a funny Benjamin Franklin animation.
The assignment was to create a video promoting a new cookware line for the mega-popular brand Allrecipes. Using their existing brand identity, we hit a bullseye connecting with their community of at home cooks.
Guitar Center - Eric Clapton
Guitar Center engaged me to art direct and photograph dramatic images of Slow Hand's two most famous guitars. It was an honor to even be in the presence of these fine instruments—although I was forbidden to touch them! Note the Hare Krishna sticker on the neck, a gift from George Harrison. My images were used for marketing and featured on his CD “Clapton”.
Better Homes & Gardens
BHG hired me to create fun, creative videos featuring their licensed line of products at Walmart. Utilizing hundreds of stills and top motion animation, these videos have been wildly popular on BHG's social media channels.
I made these wasp images to illustrate the story of first impressions in NYC. In a city of 8 million people, often you don't really see someone at first glance. Only when you choose to look closer do you really learn about them. I found these wasps on his parents back porch and brought them back to my Dumbo studio. I concepted a story for each, then meticulously posed and photographed each element.
GIFTS SPEAK - Gift Catalog With the resounding success of the previous Gift Book re-design, Neiman Marcus asked me to do it again! This time we zeroed in on the essence of gifts—more specifically gift giving. The concept that emerged was "Gifts Speak." Writer: David Culp / Photographer: Geof Kern
Better Homes & Gardens asked me to create a series of videos promoting their new line of licensed healthy frozen foods. In partnership with Eating Well these videos appeared on social media channels and were used out in the field as sales tools.
ANNUAL FUNDRAISING BROCHURE Rucker & Co. hired me to create a piece to help raise money for Vogel Alcove's new facility. Vogel Alcove is an organization that takes on the largely unrecognized cause of helping the children of the homeless. I art directed and produced this catalog, featuring stunning photography from Maxine Helfman—the featured children are all homeless children of homeless parents.
While at The Richards Group I hand-lettered this custom font for Chick-fil-A. The directive: “Imagine if cows were painting messages on a billboard. Make it look like that.”
Inspired by a Barbie & Ken doll collection - I concepted and photographed these poster images. The idea is that Barbie & Ken are the prototypical, clean cut American kids. But what do they do in their spare time? Lisa Kasberg/Stylist

Octopus Creative Group asked me to create a print campaign for a Sam Adams pitch - the focus was a to re-introduce Sam Adams to younger craft beer drinkers.
Headless at the Fair
Along with creative superstar Doug Eyring, I co-concepted, and hand-painted movie posters for the indie film Headless at the Fair. These full-sized posters were based on vintage freak show banners - mimicking the style and hand-lettered type typical to that genre.
